Matthew is also a professional trainer residing at Woodlands, NSW.

He is well known for his successful Grand Prix appearances on the ill fated Cinderella both within Australia and in Europe. He is one of only a few riders able to bring young horses right through to Grand Prix level and has several exciting prospects well on the way to fame.

From the whole Kieffer range Matthew has also settled on the Paris model and is eagerly awaiting its offshoot, the Kieffer Sydney.
