Michelle Baker is a grand prix dressage rider and coach who lives in the NSW Southern Highlands, one of Australia’s equestrian heartlands. Michelle has numerous horses in work, ranging from young horses at the very beginning of their dressage careers to Cold Stream Dante, a black warmblood gelding bred in Australia and competing at Grand Prix level.
As an accredited NCAS Level 2 coach, she works with NSW Dressage and Eventing NSW as a coach for the high performance eventing sqad and is also a guest coach for NSW Dressage clinics, as well as teaching more than 100 private students.
Like any top rider, Michelle regularly participates in clinics and training sessions to refine her own performance, including a monthly training group with other elite riders, including Matthew Dowsley, Rodney Martin and Brett Parbery, who are also Toptac-sponsored riders.
Michelle represents Noble Outfitters, a young and dynamic brand of equestrian wear and accessories from the US. She especially loves the brand’s Essential Jacket, which is light-weight and water/wind-proof, and Perfect Fit Gloves, which are easy-care and wash perfectly in a washing machine.
Michelle rides in a Kieffer Sydney saddle and is a fan of Supreme Products, particularly the Moisturise & Condition, which she uses daily to prevent manes and tails rubbing under rugs, High Shine Shampoo and Deluxe Coat Gloss.
